What I Pair with Ear Acupuncture for Maximum Impact

When clients come in for ear acupuncture, they’re often expecting a few needles and a nap. What they leave with is something deeper—an experience that feels more like a reset than a treatment. That’s because I don’t just place needles and walk away. I create a full-body, full-soul moment of care.

Here’s what I pair with ear acupuncture to make it truly transformative for your nervous system and your spirit.

1. Setting Intention to Support Nervous System Regulation

Before we do anything, I invite you to check in.
“What brought you in today?”
“What’s rising to the surface right now?”
“What do you want to let go of—or call in?”

This isn’t just small talk. Your intention helps me understand what area of your life or body may be calling for attention and it helps you drop into the moment with purpose. Whether it’s stress, grief, anxiety, or just feeling stuck, naming it changes how we care for it.

2. Breathwork and Ear Acupuncture for Calming the Nervous System

I Guide Your Breath, Not Just Your Body

After we’ve set your intention, we ease into the session together with breath.
Yes! I literally tell you when to breathe in and when to breathe out.

You might hear me say:
🫁 “Inhale slowly through the nose… pause… and exhale fully through the mouth.”
This helps your nervous system shift gears. Even before the first needle is placed, your body is already softening.

3. You’re Held in a Safe, Restorative Space

You won’t find fluorescent lights or overstimulation here. Once the needles are placed, we create a low-sensory healing cocoon:

  • The lights are dimmed

  • You’re wrapped in a blanket if you need one

  • I play binaural music designed to support deep relaxation or release, depending on what you came in with

  • You’re not alone, but you’re completely undisturbed

Your job? Just be. Let your body receive. Let your energy recalibrate.

4. Needles In, Then Gently Out—With Integration

I stay close, monitoring your cues and adjusting as needed. When it’s time, I gently remove the needles and give your body a moment to settle.

Then we talk briefly about your experience:

  • Did your intention shift?

  • Did anything come up emotionally, physically, or energetically?

  • Do you feel lighter, clearer, more grounded?

This isn’t about fixing a problem, it’s about listening. About tracking how your body responds to care in real time.

5. Ear Seeds: Gentle, Ongoing Support

Before you leave, I apply ear seeds to specific points we worked on. These tiny adhesive seeds provide gentle, lasting acupressure and you can activate them between sessions by simply pressing them throughout the day.

I’ll show you exactly how and when to do it, especially during moments when stress, anxiety, or dysregulation show up.
