Maybe you enjoy traveling but not as a way to truly rest. Instead, travel becomes a form of escape or diversion from the pressure, stress, or emotions waiting at home.

 

Another common pattern I see is coping with stress and emotional overwhelm through comfort foods; seeking a quick boost in energy or mood, or a way to avoid emotional distress altogether. With so little time in the day, many skip breakfast, work through lunch, and end each evening completely drained.

Or perhaps your version of coping looks quieter, retreating to a “comfortable” room in your home that’s habitually dim, cluttered, or disorganized… a space that unintentionally mirrors the exhaustion you’re trying to recover from, rather than supporting the calm and energy you crave.

Like many of the women I support, you may have tried everything on your own to break these cycles; yet nothing seems to work. You’re unsure what else to do or where to turn.

Left unaddressed, these patterns can deepen stress, anxiety, emotional distress, physical discomfort, and even lead to re-traumatization.

Prior To Engaging In Services

The first appointment is called an Intake Appointment and will take approximately 50 minutes, available via phone, video, or in person. Before this appointment, you will be asked to complete several brief forms through the Client Portal. These forms gather information about your current and past experiences, including holistic approaches you have used to support mood and wellness. They also include questions about your environment and nutritional intake to help guide the development of a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
